Positive Referrals / Students of the Month

Pioneer PRIDE Positive Referral: Teachers and Staff are encouraged to fill out a Positive Referral that is sent home to parents about the good work students are doing in class as well as improved attendance, class work, attitude, or behavior. This is considered a Tier 1 Intervention to be used for as many students as possible to encourage continuing positive behavior.

Pioneer PRIDE Student of the Month: Every month Mt. Whitney recognizes, rewards, and celebrates two students per grade who have been nominated by their teachers for exhibiting Pioneer PRIDE! P-Positivity, R-Respect, I-Integrity, D-Determined, E-Engagement: Be sincere, trustworthy, honest, display academic honor, do the right thing!  Be determined and persistent... never quit trying! Please nominate a student who you believe has shown Pioneer PRIDE!
